Real Solutions For Real Challenges

Economic Development

Opportunity shouldn’t depend on your zip code.
Fred is committed to building an economy that works for every corner of Arkansas—from the Delta to the Ozarks—by investing in infrastructure, workforce, and small businesses, this will allow communties to thrive. He will create regional economic hubs, rebuild critical infrastructure like roads, water, sewer, and broadband, and expand career pathways through apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, and workforce training. His plan also includes summer youth employment tied to real career credentials and a focused effort to expand affordable housing across the state.

Education

Education is the foundation of opportunity—and Fred’s life proves it.
Fred believes every child deserves the same chance to succeed his teachers and mentors provided him, regardless of their zipcode. Fred will ensure every student reads on grade level by investing in literacy, providing the proper resources, and strengthening early education. He will expand mental health support in schools, especially in rural areas, support teachers with fair pay and resources, and reject policies that divert funding away from public classrooms. Fred will also expand adult literacy programs so working families can build better futures.

Public Safety

Strong communities require both safety and second chances.
Fred believes public safety is a must, and families must be protected while also addressing the root causes of crime. He will stop the construction of the costly 3,000-bed Franklin County prison that fails to solve long-term issues and instead focus on rehabilitation, workforce training, and reentry programs that reduce repeat offenses. He will also ensure correctional facilities are properly staffed and that those working in the system are supported and protected.

Healthcare

Healthcare should be accessible, affordable, and available to every Arkansan.
No family should have to choose between getting care and paying their bills. Fred will protect Medicaid, expand access to maternal and mental health services across the state, and use telehealth to reach underserved and rural communities. He will ensure healthcare funding is focused on outcomes—not bureaucracy—and launch a statewide mental health app and hotline to provide immediate support when it’s needed most.
